Privacy Policy

This policy explains how UsefulBox handles information when you use its browser tools, account features, and ShipFormat subscription features.

Business files stay in your browser by default

Business files you choose to open, including CSV and XLSX files, are processed in your browser by default. UsefulBox does not automatically upload those files because you sign in, use an account, or manage billing. Generated business-file outputs also remain in your browser unless you choose to save or send them elsewhere.

UsefulBox Account and Supabase

UsefulBox uses Supabase for authentication, identity, and the Personal Account. The service keeps the account, membership, billing-status, and product-entitlement data that the current account and product-access features require. This data is separate from the business files processed in your browser.

Google Sign-In

If you choose Google Sign-In, UsefulBox requests only the openid, email, and profile scopes. These basic identity details are used to authenticate you and associate the sign-in method with the same UsefulBox identity. UsefulBox does not use Google Sign-In to access Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts, Calendar, or their content.

Payments and subscriptions

Stripe processes payment information for ShipFormat Pro. UsefulBox keeps the billing, subscription, and product-entitlement status needed to provide and manage the subscription. UsefulBox does not store complete payment-card details.

Authentication email

Supabase and Resend are used to send transactional authentication email, such as confirmation, magic-link, and password-recovery messages. They process the email address and delivery information needed for those messages.

Abuse protection

Cloudflare Turnstile is used to reduce automated requests and authentication abuse. Turnstile may evaluate network, browser, and device signals needed to distinguish legitimate requests from automated traffic.

Service providers and data sharing

UsefulBox provides information to Supabase, Google, Stripe, Resend, and Cloudflare only as needed for the authentication, payment, email-delivery, and abuse-protection functions described above. UsefulBox does not sell personal data.

Security and retention

UsefulBox uses access controls and the safeguards provided by its service providers to protect account and product-access data. Account, billing, subscription, and entitlement records may be retained for operational, security, and legal needs. This policy does not promise a fixed retention period.

Your choices

You can sign out, manage your UsefulBox account password, and manage an active ShipFormat Pro subscription through the available account and billing controls. Contact support if you have a privacy or account question.
